Description
The Fully-Automatic AED Plus configuration aims to reduce the pause time between CPR and defibrillation. This fully-automatic device delivers a shock once a shockable heart rhythm is detected, without any input from the rescuer. This automatic feature can increase the patient's chances of survival by reducing potential hesitation from the rescuer or in scenarios where a professional first responder is not immediately available.
Like the semi-automatic configuration, the Fully-Automatic AED Plus also offers real-time feedback to guide high-quality CPR and provides an initial heart rhythm analysis. If the device determines a shock isn't needed, it guides the rescuer through the CPR process to restore a shockable rhythm on the subsequent analysis.
Included in the Fully-Automatic AED Plus configuration are:
- AED Cover: Protects the device when it's not in use.
- Medical Prescription: Essential for purchasing and using an AED device.
- CPR-D-Padz® Electrode: A one-piece, pre-connected electrode ensuring quick and accurate placement.
- (10) CR123a Batteries: High-quality lithium batteries with a 5-year battery life.
- Carry Case: Convenient for the safe storage and transport of the device.
Both the Semi-Automatic and Fully-Automatic AED Plus configurations include an automatic self-testing feature to ensure the device is always rescue-ready. These configurations are designed to resist dust and water, as highlighted by their IP55 rating, making them suitable for various environments.
