Tests That Can Be Performed

3. ABI (Ankle Brachial Index): This fundamental PAD exam includes dual ankle Doppler pressures and PVR waveforms.

4. ABI with Toe (Ankle Brachial Index + Toe or TBI): Typically used if the patient has calcified vessels and the ABI cannot be obtained. This exam includes dual ankle Doppler pressures and PVR waveforms.

5. Segmental Exams: Multi-level exams for determining the level of obstruction. Meets equipment requirements for CPT code 93923. These exams are efficient and provide the information needed to determine the level of occlusion.

6. Modern Segmental Exams: These tests are faster, easier on the patient, provide the information needed to determine the level of occlusion, and meet CPT requirements.
