Cabinet Diagram

A diagram of the cabinet allows for a simple layout that staff can immediately understand and work with. The layout quickly delineates each individual bin. Each bin locks separately and must be specifically selected. Bins can be labeled however you’d like: by drug, by patient, by staff member, or any other category that you’d prefer.

Medication Tracking

To access any bin, the user must input what they are going to do with that specific drug. Before the bin unlocks, the user must select the specific medication and specify the destination of where that drug is going. Is it going to a specific patient? Is one staff member giving it to another to administer? Is a staff member returning, wasting or stocking meds? All of these types of actions are recorded by the cabinet’s software.

Inventory Counting

The system can perform morning and evening medication counts that many facilities require of their staff each day. Drug inventory counts can be structured so that an employee must have another witness sign in to authorize the count. Both user signatures will then show up in the system’s reports.

User Access

The cabinet’s software manages all users to make sure only authorized staff have access. Administrators assign different user types with various permissions so that only appropriate staff members can access specific bins.
